- Allan has drawn and painted almost all his life, now he lives and works as an artist in SW France.
- With a history of teaching art in British schools during the 1970s, he brings a wealth of educational expertise to the table.
- As a seasoned professional, Allan conducts painting and sketching workshops worldwide, sharing artistic insights with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Allan has contributed articles to “SAA Paint magazine”, “Artist & Illustrators” magazine, and watercolorpainting.com and has written 2 books on sketching.
- His true passion lies in creating art outdoors, using pen and watercolor, making his expertise in this area particularly valuable. He is the winner of such prestigious competitions as “Soreze painters in the streets” (2005), “St Julia painters in the streets” (2008), "Les Pinceaux de Cocagne" sketchbook competition (2014) and many others.
