Day 1: Flowers
We will be exploring watercolor techniques on how to capture the essence of flowers, going over their symbolic meanings, and the various ways one can express the moods of nature through form and color.

The goal is to take the essential components that make up the flower painting and reassemble them to say what you wish, exploring loose and free brushstrokes.

Day 2: Landscapes
On Day 2, we explore the deep meanings of mountains and how to bring them to life with watercolors. We'll learn to add depth to our work, making distant mountains seem real. With every brushstroke, we'll aim to capture the quiet power of nature.

Prasad Beaven

  • A recent graduate of the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, Prasad was exposed to a range of art forms and cultures including Indian Miniature, Persian painting, Geometry, Icon painting, and Chinese Landscape painting
  • Prasad's childhood spent in the foothills of the Himalayas has made a big impression on his character and interests
  • Greatly inspired by Nature, he seeks to discover and express its many moods
  • Prasad had the opportunity to meet Prince Charles (now King Charles), and they discussed their shared interest in watercolor
  • Prasad also won the Ciclitira Prize, through which his works were hung in the prestigious Saatchi Gallery
